Project Controls Engineer

on Pharma Project

Given our strong growth and ambitious business plan, we are looking for a Project Controls Engineer based in Belgium or in the Netherlands.  

 

As a Project Controls Engineer on a Pharma Project, you will be responsible for managing the planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting activities of the project. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including the critical path analysis and resource leveling.

  • Monitor and control project costs, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on project expenditures.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.

  • Develop and implement project controls policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with project management team to forecast project costs and ensure budget adherence.

  • Develop and maintain project controls reports, including progress reports, cost-to-complete reports, and earned value analysis reports.
  • Provide project controls training and support to project team members, including project managers and other stakeholders.

  • Participate in project status meetings to provide updates on project controls status and forecasts.

  • Implement and manage document control systems, including maintaining the project’s master document register.

  • Ensure compliance with project controls requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and project managers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in project controls in the Pharma or Life Sciences industry

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
